How we handle your data when you use our website.
Who processes your data
Meridian Tax Partners LLC (TIN 2009961471), Amay Business Center, 7th floor, office 13, Baku, Azerbaijan. Email: info@meridiantax.az, phone: +994 70 598 13 33. We process personal data in line with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Personal Data".
What data we receive
- Forms: the name, phone, email, company, message and calculation result you enter in the contact, quote request, calculation-by-email or reminder forms.
- Analytics: anonymous statistics on page views, clicks and scrolling (see the Microsoft Clarity and Cloudflare sections below).
- Calculators: the figures you enter are calculated in your browser and are not sent to our server. We only receive the result if you ask us to email it to you.
How we use your data
We use your data only to answer your question, prepare a service proposal, and send you calculations and tax deadline reminders. By ticking the consent box before submitting a form, you agree to this. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and quote requests are kept for 12 months after we reply; reminder subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Documents of clients we serve under contract are kept for the periods required by law (5 years for tax documents).
Confidentiality of client data
Financial and tax information we receive while providing services is protected by the confidentiality clause in our service contract and used only to provide those services.
Third-party services and transfers outside Azerbaijan
The website uses the services below. Their servers may be located outside Azerbaijan, and each operates under its own privacy policy:
- FormSubmit: delivers form submissions to our inbox.
- Microsoft Clarity: anonymous usage statistics (details below).
- Cloudflare: website hosting, security and cookie-free visitor statistics.
- Google Fonts, Google Maps and YouTube: fonts, maps and videos.
- Central Bank of Azerbaijan: official exchange rates for the business travel calculator (no personal data is sent).
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to improve the website. It collects anonymous data on clicks, scrolling and movement on pages. Anything you type into forms and calculators is masked from Clarity. On this site Clarity runs without cookies: nothing is stored in your browser and repeat visits are not linked. More: Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to withdraw your consent. Email info@meridiantax.az or reply "unsubscribe" to any of our emails. We respond within 1 business day.
